...but are there any if I decide to upgrade after a few months of using a certain plan and possibly finding it inadequate?

CSA? Where do I get one? All I see is Simple Simon!

No you should be good because the conditions are usually related to the cost of the plan so if you are going up you will still be meeting the conditions, it seems like it is sometimes hit and miss on that with some posts. So to be on the safe side you can run it by a CSA to get it documented before a potential change

Upgrading is generally fine. Just be aware that any time you change plans you must choose from a plan that is available at that time. What this means is that if you later change your mind and want to go back to your original plan, you would not be able to if that plan is discontinued in the meantime. Hopefully that makes sense.

HI @musicollector a reminder, when you upgrade your plan, it is best to make a manual payment ahead for the first month. There seems to be a common glitch for Autopay for plan upgrade, it might fail on the first Autopay for the new amount

Thanks.

@musicollector Yeah, even the downgrade pitfalls seem to be YMMV scenario, but as mentioned upgrading is usually safe from losing any promotional data.

Hmmm...so you are saying even if I upgrade to a more expensive plan, my activation bonus will get cancelled? Clear as mud. Thanks. 🙂

@musicollector you can upgrade and downgrade any time and won't have any effect... EXCEPT, if you have activation bonus, those 2GB for x months, those might be gone after plan change
But those holiday bonus or the add-ons that you bought will stay in your plan whether you upgrade or downgrade

@musicollector hi there are no problems upgrading it's just sometimes there are stipulations in a promo for downgrading a plan
