Twice in this week I see some brand new members joined and asking unrelated questions. One was asking free TV Channel and one was asking Windows 10.
The first one never came back after, according to the login info. I wonder if the spammers are joining and getting ready to send us some "deals" soon. Or did PM changed the rules that they have to post something before they can message people ?
(or maybe this is normal and I just not aware?) All I can say is that .. Interesting people coming onboard.

@computergeek541 thinking out loud: since private messaging is no longer required to initiate a support request, Iwonder if it could be an either/or condition of:
1) x number of posts, and/or
2) one or more support tickets opened via the chatbot [as the person needs to communicate back and forth with support reps to resolve the ticket]
Probably too sophisticated of a configuration for PM, but that would at least help add one more barrier to private message spamming while not preventing someone from getting help.

We are a wealth of information. It is up to us to advise new members the appropriate board to post in. In these two cases that would be the lounge.
