Hi,
I am a new customer who just transfered over to Public mobile. I unfortunately, do not have service. I looked at past dicussions to set up the Apn, and still no service. My phone is an Iphone 4.
I got my number ported over, and activated my plan, and I have my new sim card in my phone. My old provider is Chatr. I have turned my phone off and on a few times. and still no service.
I hope to get help soon.

Hi to anyone who ends up reading this disscussion.
I ended up figuring out what the problem was atleast for my situation.
I have an Iphone 4 so setting up an APN is different.
I knew that I had to use unlockit to set up my APN.
What I didn't know was in Settings I needed to tap on Cellular to open the Cellular window.
At this window I had to make sure that:
* Cellular Data was on
* Enable 3G was on
* Finally I had to tap on Cellular Data to open the Cellular window. In the Cellular window, I had to input isp.mp.com in the APN field. (the default that was inputted in the APN field atleast for me was something along the lines of isp.telus.com. )
Anywho hope this information is useful and helps others.

Hi, Yes I checked whether my Iphone was compatible with PM, before switching over .

Did you check whether your phone is compatible with PM before porting your number to PM?
