Public Mobile should be made aware that my phone did not create an APN when I subscribed to the $25 plan yesterday.
Luckily I also subscribed on my wife's phone which did set itself up properly. I was able to copy her APN details into mine which now works.
Please advise Public so this can be fixed for others.

There's nothing to advice Public Mobile of. This is matter of the device manufactuer's software on the phone. Public Mobile doensn't control this.

Hi @wmccrack
This does happen from time to time and lg seems to be affected the most
Really glad you managed to resolve it by yourself and you were willing to put in the time to share with others
Welcome to public mobile:)

@wmccrack that's more of a device issue than a Public Mobile issue. In fact, because it's a common occurrence there is a help article on how to setup your APN.

@wmccrack It depends on the model of your phone...some will set up automatically others require you to add public mobiles APN manually. Others like the LG4 will require a network reset or a factory reset. It's a common occurrence when changing providers.
