New Sim card old Public mobile phone number possible

My Dads phone blew up in his pocket and his sim and SD card were destroyed we ordered a new PB sim card and are hoping there is a way to link it to his existing Public mobile account using his existing number and on a new phone  any thoughts on how or if its possible?  btw this system is HORRIBLE tags you cannot use any of the things Im asking about sim card phone number public all banned

hi @Kootenay_boy all you need to do is to login. My Account and update Sim card number

  you might have trouble with 2FA, just click Didn't Receive Code and the Send email 

If you really cannot login, just message support agent for help
