Hello,
I was recently transferred to the new rewards system. After I received my 1st bill I noticed that Autopay reward ($2) and Loyalty recognition ($4).
Can you please explain why it was removed?
Doesn't Public Mobile offer the loyalty and autopay rewards any longer?
Thank you in advance.

I am also very disappointed in PUBLIC MOBILE! I feel strongly that they have done us all a disservice changing us loyal people to this loathed Points System. The thing is that they know that they are earning more money by putting us onto this system because of the fact that they have knocked off the very benefits that made up sign up in the first place and get our friends to sign up too. We have lost the $2 autopay, the $1 off each referral per month and are making us pay upfront. We also have to go in physically and apply the points to lower our bill every month if we have reached 15 points which equals $15.00 plus it is so painstaking to get into the account, put the password and auth code in, then go to the rewards, put the password and auth code in again. They are making it like Fort Knox to even get a few dollars off to lower our bills and a lot of time spent to do this. I recommend that they get a simple way of having each person automatically opt to have their points simply go towards lowering their bills without making people waste their time doing it themselves. This is pointless waste of time and in these days of technology, they can certainly make it easy for people. COME ON PUBLIC MOBILE! WAKE UP AND SEE THAT YOU ARE MAKING PEOPLE ANGRY WITH HAVING TO FIGHT TO APPLY POINTS EACH MONTH! YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!!!!!! We really dont want to be having to log in a million times to apply points! Please wake up and smell the roses otherwise we will be looking elsewhere for simplier and other cost effective providers.

Once again, everyone has the right to file with the CCTS.

Hello @smartin777
Sadly and embarrassingly Public Mobile removed everyone's monthly credits they EARNED. There is a very large thread about it.
You are encouraged to file a complaint with the CCTS with regards to your loss of earned credits.

hi @smartin777 sorry, with the new points, you don't get Autopay $2 off and loyalty, only 5% and Friend referrals, and in points

PM retired the old reward system this month (May) and everyone migrated on the new Public Points system.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/move-to-public-points
With this new system, you pay the full amount first (with the Available Funds on your My Account or via your credit/debit card on the system), and hence you see a higher charge now.
Then PM will give you the points to your point account after renewal within 48 hours. Once you collected 15 points, you can redeem $15 bill payment yourself to bring the next payment down. Or you can also use points to buy add-ons with a discounted price
For how to earn points with Public Points,
- you will get the same friend referral, 1 point (= $1) for every referral every month.
- Instead of $2 autopay, you earn 5% point of your spending in points (plan renewal or add-on purchrases).
- Instead of loyalty rewards, you will earn 10 points on your Anniversary date every year
- You will still earn Give-Back rewards by participating in the Community. Everyone has a chance to earn can 1/2/5/10/15/20 points depends on the overall participation of the month
I have to admit Public Points rewards is not as good as the Legacy rewards system, but you are still saving money, just in a slower pace
