New FM to PM promo questions...

Hi everyone, I have a few question I need to find answers before I make the switch (potentially).

I currently have 2 lines with FM that I would like to port and take advantage of the promo. Is it possible to port 2 lines? They are both on the same account.

I noticed this promo is province calling only but my needs require Canada wide calling and text. Is this possible? How much extra?

Is the 90 days cost paid upfront or monthly? I can't seem to find a clear answer. Once the 3 month is up, the promo continues? Monthly? 3 months?

I currently have 1 BYOD phone that I can use, can I get a new phone with this promo? My 2nd line is in serious needs of a new device!

And lastly, the promo ends this week, I don't think I would be able to get the sim + port in time. Is there anywhere I can buy 2 sims in person?

Perfect, thank you very much everyone! I will be taking a hard look at this tomorrow and possibly check retentions @fm. It is very enticing at the moment but my upfront cost might be a bit steep with the fact that I need at least 1 new device.

Yes; you will need 2 PM accounts/email addresses. Port-in one to each. Consider aliases to manage from one primary address: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Self-Serve/Workaround-How-to-create-multiple-accounts...

NO; ONLY option is long distance add-on; $15 for 400 minutes. Add-ons never expire until completely used. Text is global.

No phones at PM, ONLY BYOD. Phones must be unlocked or from Koodo/Telus.

No stores; check Kijiji. If you can come to MIssissauga send me a private message; I have one spare you may have. Otherwise, order 2 today and you will likely receive them in time within the GTA.

PM allows only one number per sim/account. You will need to activate 2 saperate account for two lines.

To get canada-wide calling, you will need to purchase an add-on. 200 mins for $8 and 400 mins for $15. Here is the link explaining how province wide calling works.

Upfront for 90 days $120 plus tax. Yes the promo will renew as long as you keep the account active (don't let it sit on suspended for more than 90 days).

No phones on Public Mobile. You can buy refurbished phones from their partner seller Orchard. 

And lastly, the promo ends this week, I don't think I would be able to get the sim + port in time. Is there anywhere I can buy 2 sims in person?
They ship by xpress post so likely you will get it next week and just before June 30. If you can find someone nearby offering sim, getting from them would be a good idea.

Yes it is possible , but you will have to port them individually, to two new PM accounts, since PM can only support one line per account, (This includes having different emails for the lines)
You can use  the + signal in Gmail  ex: my+email@gmail.com to create aliases for better organisation

Text is global. So you will be fine with that.
Call requires a long distance add on, either 8$ for 200 min or 15$ for 400 min. Those minutes do not expire until fully used, so take a whole year if you want. 🙂

you pay in advance the 120 $ once you get to the 90th day, your plan gets renewed for an other 90 days and it will continue as long as you are still paying.

Unfortunatly you will have to bring your unlocked phone with you , PM do not offer Phones.

Ask people in the community, Which city do you live in, there should be some members that can sell you  spare SIM cards
