I have an old SIM.
The number is 891223xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I need to know if I can reuse it to transfer from my current koodo plan back to public mobile.
I want to keep the same phone number.
Please respond.

PM old SIM card not allowed to reactivated.. you need to purchase new SIM card to be start brand new account.
ensure that you have received a validation SMS text from your Koodo, and that you have followed the instructions in the message within 90 minutes to approve the number transfer.
Your old SIM card must be inside your device and your account Koodo must still be active so you can receive and respond to the SMS and authorize the request. Please do not replace your old SIM card with your Public SIM until you have responded to this message SMS reply YES
To given the approval to transfer your old number to new provider.

You cannot reuse old SIM. You have to get new one, open new account and during opening OR little bit later request number transfer through self-serving account. Please note: BOTH account have to be active in order to transfer - port - your Koodo number.
SIM is active as long as account is active. If account is closed due to porting or no pay that SIM becomes useless.

If that old sim has ever been activated, then that number was ported away...that sim is no longer any good. You'll need a new sim to start a new acct.
