When I try to turn on MyHotSpot I get "Contact PublicMobile". However not sure to whom I should contact.

i think there are two possible problems, one is your phone, another is SIM card itself, when do you get your SIM card.

Someone else mentioned this problem yesterday or the day before.  I don't know that it is related to the problem over the weekend because my hotspot didn't work then but the other device connected to it although there was no internet access.  There was no contact the carrier notification.  I don't know if the other case was resolved.

what kind of phone is that?

did you setup hotspot using the phone's own setting or you are using app?  don't use the app, just use the settings, that can be done easiliy

"MyHotSpot"?

PM does not block the use of hotspot.  There was a problem on the weekend but it is now fixed

Try to reboot your phone, try Reset all networks

@Rict  There was an issue with hot spot couple days ago . Maybe try and reboot the phone first . But you can use this direct link to support should try be needed
