Mobile data not working

My phone calls and texts   ,can't send pictures or use mobile data but have lots of data left . I dont understand how to fix this problem

@Keithrankin  - check to see if you have data left on your plan, if the data line does not exist in the area below then that normally means you used up.

If you still see a data line in your overview, try:

  • restarting your phone
  • toggle into / out of airplane mode
  • remove your SIM card then reinsert it
  • perform a Reset of your device's Network Settings.

  • What is the make and model of your phone?
  • What version of OS do you have?
  • Has data and/or MMS ever worked with pm?
  • Have you just activated your pm account or have you been a customer for awhile?
  • Do you have mobile data enabled on your phone?
  • Do you have the data limiter set on your phone?

Please answer these questions and we can help figure what the exact issue that is causing the inability to use mobile data.

Are your data settings turned on?

Do you have MMS turned on for messaging?

Was data working on this phone earlier?    If data has never worked on this device at Public Mobile (assuming that you're a new customer or just recently switched devices), this could be an APN setting issue.  For reference, here's a good starting point to double check your settings:  https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/set-up-data-on-an-android-phone

Has it ever worked here? Are you new here? If Android then it's likely your APN settings. Or if iphone connect to wifi and go into settings general about and check for any updates.
