Hello fellow community members,
I have been receiving messages from Public Mobile (PM) stating that I have used 75% of my data . However, when I log into my account and check the usage, I find I only used 55%. Any thoughts on why?
another issue, is that despite limiting the apps using data, I ran out of a previously purchased 3GB within 24 hours. How come? I am suspecting the count is not done right. Any ideas?

hi @Bes but if your include 100% used on your 2GB bonus and 3GB add-on , that would bring up the 55% used to 75%
Let try to do some math..how much data yuu have this cycle and how much used??
what are all data add-on on your add-on section and what amount used on each??

If some of the calls ending in 4001…that is your voicemail box and that counts as outgoing calls.

true, for my first 2GB yes! But then, I did the exact same thing and literally only have data abled for WhatsApp

If you have unlimited minutes you should not worry about that counter.
If you see number called ending with 4001/2 that is your voice mail. Every time call ends up in voice mail it will show there like you 'called' it.

unfortunately, I do not think so. They already advised I used 100% of my 2 GB . Then I purchased 3GB that they said I run through in 24 hrs. As I am still waiting for my home wifi, I had to purchase another 3GB …

@Bes - Whenever tries to call you and it goes to voicemail it will count.
Also calling up voicemail it will count.

If you watch any videos on your data it won't last very long. Also turn off any Access to all apps that don't need to use data. And make sure that your OS apple/android can only update over wifi.

Hello ( me again),
speaking of usage in my earlier post, I also noticed that it states I used just under 300 minutes.
true, I have unlimited calling, however, there is NOWAY I used this many minures. I mostly text ( and I can track minutes of calls on my phone anyways).
when I check the list of numbers called, there are so many numbers I do not recognize and for sure did not call
cam anyone, please, help explain what is happening? Why? How can I sort it out?

the 75% message could be a 75% or all your data, not just your current cycle dataa. All data including bonus add-on from before

I hate to say it @Bes but Public Mobile is nothing more than a hornets nest of problems.
