Hi members. My current plan doesn’t include Mexico roaming. Is there anyway I can roam in Mexico for only 4 days without changing my plan type? I currently have 57 reward points; can I use them towards Mexico roaming? Is there even any add-on I can purchase? Please advise. Thank you.

I believe it's 3.5 GB's data. You'll have unlimited calls to most any Canada / Mx / US numbers. Any unused data can be used in Canada when you get home....talk as well.
Get to any Kiosko or OXXO store in Mexico and get the Telcel sim and the Amigo Sin Limite 200 plan. Use gogle translate unless you can read Spanish !....

One other option is to just use WhatsApp to keep in contact with family / friends back home but they need to download the app as well. Whatsapp uses wifi or separately purchased data...but most of the Telcel packages include free social media usage...including Whatsapp.

Thank you @hairbag1 for your response. Do you how much data would this $20 plan include when I attempt to buy it from Mexico? Thank you.

hi @JoeLast
you cannot just buy Mexico add-on
if you need data there, use travel eSIM or local data sim card. if you also need voice, setup VoIP app TextNow before your trip and use it to make calls whenever you have Mobile data or Wifi

I do not see any Mexico add-ons. Only USA for 15 days.
If you Really need to talk in/out Mexico then you would have to change plan including all 3 countries. BUT! be aware you might NOT be able to go back yo your current plan if 3-countries is more expensive plan...

nope...you'd need to upgrade your plan OR wait until you're in Mexico and buy a 30 day talk/text/data plan for about $20Cdn.

sorry, PM does not sell Mexico roaming add-on by itself, you need to have Canada/US/Mexico roaming plan, but don't upgrade to that just for the 4 days trip, you likely cannot go back to your current plan after you moved away
