Can I migrate to Public Mobile while keeping the same phone number of the other carrier I’m migrating from?

Hi! I have a question about the current $40 Canada-US promo. It says I get 75 unlimited Canada-US wide minutes. Does it mean I can roam in the US for free, or it means to only call the US for free from Canada?
