No I wouldn't say that at all. Of course it depends on the question asked as well. But if you have been give the same basic answer by many members over the course of several hours or a day and another member tacks the same answer on the end of the thread several days later that you choose it can be deflating to those who put in considerable effort to answer members questions. That is just my opinion since you wondered...?
I can also open my big mouth at times.....

No offence taken. But also- no offense meant, are you saying that I have to choose the first/fastest response as my solution?

?? No offense @parkerremy2 ...but @79lemmonjr your original question was answered by several members minutes after you asked it.

Yes, @CountyDownIeUk , however unless the device is linked to a lost or missing person (or someone in distress), they won't.

If you DON'T have the box, try this:
To find your IMEI number when physically missing your device, try the following:
For iPhone:
If you’ve ever synced your iPhone with iTunes i.e. backed up your devices on your computer – the device data incl. the IMEI should be visible in the iTunes settings.
IMEI number in iTunes
For Android:
If you had Find My Device (or Android Device Manager) installed on your Android prior to losing your phone, sign in to Google Find My Device (formerly Android Device Manager) with your Google account to find your IMEI number. It’s easy, this is how you do it:

I don't have the box but I opened a ticket

Do you have the box that it came in....often is on the label.
And sometimes on your SIM card tray.
PM knows what the full # is....contact a CSA.

@CountyDownIeUk i think OP was asking 'without looking it up on their device'.
03-27-2022 04:52 PM
I clearly stated without using my device
03-27-2022 04:52 PM
RCMP can.
And there are some apps that will find your phone.

That number on your self serve account @79lemmonjr is your last 4 digits of your SIM card, if you are talking about the section under your My Profile (change sim card) area.
You can look at the box the phone came in (if you have it, for the IMEI #)

Your friend that referred you will know when you have suspended via lost/stolen as they will get a text telling them that their rewards may be less on their next renewal due to one of their referral's accounts inactivity.
If you suspend during an active 30 day cycle your voicemail will remain active until you unsuspend or your account is cancelled and deactivated. Once you unsuspend your voicemail will be active once you pay and reactivate your service.
Suspending your service via lost/stolen does not register the IMEI # of your device on the blacklist. You must request customer support to do so with a police file # of your reported lost or stolen device.
