Locked sim card

I had to replace my phone so I moved the sim card to the new phone and it tells me that it is locked. I don't know how to resolve this.

hi @DougHay The seller said unlocked but it could be wrong

What brand of phone is that?  What was the error message showing on the screen?

Also,  try putting different active sim cards from different carriers to test the phone and see if you get the same error. Let us know which carrier sim cards do not give the error

@DougHay

It sure sounds like it is locked or it is not compatible with PM.

What is the make and model of your new phone?

You can return it for a refund if it is locked or not compatible.

@DougHay

is there someone close by with a cellphone you could try your sim in their cellphone ?

Was purchased brand new from Amazon as an unlocked phone.

@DougHay  Is this brand new phone or new to you ? If used new phone you will need to ask the carrier it came from to unlock it for you . If it’s just a SIM PUK support can help

@DougHay

could be your new cell is locked to previous provider. Try the sim in your old phone or a different unlocked phone.
