Hi,
How well does the signal work in Kenora ON seeing we dont have a Telus presense.
In addition, does the 35.00 plan support tethering?

Public Mobile is a self service carrier and has no stores. Telus stores can only sell a Public Mobile SIM ccard but will not help with activation or provide any other form of customer service for Public Mobile customers. As Public Mobile does have Kenora phone numbers available and the area is covered by the network, for all intents and purposes, Public Mobile has a full prescence in Kenora, Ontario.

Yes. I have mine to come off my credit card every month. Just easier that way. You can turn autopay off any time.

Are you sure about that Don? Granted I drive 17A around Kenora but I have signal on my Public Mobile and Telus phones. I even have signal at Dixie Lake which isn't far from Kenora. Plus, I've always had signal at Harbourfest. Ooops... it's called something else now isn't it. Sorry. 🙂
Take a look for yourself. https://www.telus.com/en/mobility/network/coverage-map

tethering is permitted...yes. For Public Mobile (Telus) service in central Canada, Bell & Telus have reciprocal agreements to use each others towers etc. You should have excellent coverage.

All Public Mobile plans allow tethering. As for Kenora, it is a fully serviced area.
