This is disappointing but unfortunately not surprising. I only joined recently, but I'll start shopping around again. The rewards are not as rewarding anymore, and from what I can see, they're taking steps in the wrong direction.
Submit a ticket by sending a private message to CS_Agent. They will ask for some information to verify ownership and can likely change the email on your account.
Are you using an iPhone? Is MMS enabled in Messages settings? Is your phone number saved in Settings?If that doesn't help, I would suggest submitting a ticket with the orange chat icon on the lower right.
