I just paid 45 $ towards data why is it not added on yet ?

If you have $45 as available fund in your account, you have not purchased your data add-on yet.  Buying add-on is a 2 steps process.  First add fund to your account and then use the fund to purchase the add-on.

Before you go ahead to purchase your add-on, Here is the options to get more data:
1. If your current data limit does not meet your 30 days' need, you may change a plan with more data. You can do the plan from self-serve. You get your data back immediately with plan change.
2. If you want to renew the same plan early, you need to create a moderator support ticket using the ? button at the bottom right hand corner of this page. Moderator wait time is 2 days. If your next renewal date is up to 2 days away, you may just on data diet for a few days until after renewal.
3. You can buy data add-ons $15 1GB data or $10 200MB data. Expensive option

Now you have the options, decide what you want to do.

@Ironchild99 Just adding a payment to your account activates nothing automatically. It simply increases Available Funds.

@Ironchild99  if you used the add on function you have to add the 45.00 to your account then go to the add on and add the 3Gig. 

If you havent done the second step then it wont go through if you have then exit your self serve go back in and it should be added. Any add on I have done adds immediatley unless there is a lag in the browser.

you said consider switching to 40 plan it will give you 5 gigs with autopay. 

If you are already on it you could ask moderators to renew you early or upgrade for 8.5 gig for only $5 more.. Maybe it's worth is of your use went up temporarily.

The add-on is great if you are going just couple of hundred megs over your allowance, bit temporary switch is better for sudden short increases in usage

Log into My Account...do you see your $$ sitting in Available Funds ? If so, then you need to now go back and actually buy the add-ons you want.

@Ironchild99  if you were buying the 3@ 1gb addons= $45, if you ran out of data,  often it is more economical to ask the mods to renew your plan early rather than buying  the addons.  of course this all depends on your needs and plan.

Are you trying to purchase an add-on?

If yes. It's two steps. You added the money to your account balance (check to make sure it shows there) now go and buy the addon.
