I posted about this in form of a ticket 3 days ago as it's concerning subject. I submitted another ticket prior to commencing this post be cause when I checked the copy of the post it wasn't showing although it stated my ticket was successfully processed on this second occasion. I shoukd have free calls and sms but it's being counted under data and not as part of my subscription. My fear is that my card would be charged for this. I'm using a Samsung a05 currently new model and I set my apps to not use data including the phone and messages but I didn't expect t them to be using data anyways as I have calls and sms included in my package. Someone please kindly look into this and let me know ASAP. Thanks so much in advance.

Please ignore the above as it's wrong. The AI that Google is using likely had generic information inputed that could cover most cell phone companies but Google never updated the database with information that is correct or specific to Public Mobile.

Are you support staff per chance? I'm a bit confused about whether the community is certain about what they relay or is it just intended to be helpful? I received text pictures believing this was included in my plan i do not want to pay for 1 gb of overage data. It isn't even in my data that's included in the plan it's counted separate so it shouldn't be overage but I don't know for certain what the terms are. I also am surprised it's being counted not under my subscription included data that 1 gb and I hope there isn't an intention to charge my card. Google says public will charge your card for data overage. I'm quite concerned and have not been comfortable using my plan the past few days. I sure wish i woukd hear from customer support.

There are never additional charges with PM because all plans are prepaid.

Hi Thanks so much for your reply but i think there's something called overage fees for data use that exceeds your subscription to the best of what I'm reading. If anyone knows how I can get a hold of support staff please advise! Thanks in advance

Hi Thanks for the reply. I see data usage in history showing for both calls and texts! I also read that cards would be charged for Additional data use somewhere online, so there is some confusion. I did remind two support tickets but I'm not sure they are going through. Ive additionally noted that calls won't work through regular channels if data access is blocked on the phone app. I've also found some articles stating that if 3g network is blocked for calls the samsung a05 will do this and I only recently purchased it, a new phone with what you would believe to be current software? This is my first month on public mobile, and while I really appreciate your replies I'd be happy to hear from the support staff for reassurance, but I'm left wondering how to contact them when I've tried through my account twice and it m says successful but then there's no record of it. Any help would be appreciated if anyone knows how to contact them...

Calling and texting is part of your monthly plan and won’t be charged for it.
Only MMS (SMS with attached pictures) will use data.

HI @CherylKimmy
first, PM is a prepaid provider, you need to pay ahead to use. If you can use, then that means it is included and no worry about extra charges
and you talk about free calls? where you want to call? free Canada-wide calling?. or LD calling included in the plan? If you are talking about LD calling included in the plan, you can confirm by going to My Account. On the Overview page, there is a section about Subscription Usage. click the Usage Breakdown and you will see it there
