2 things I'm curious about:
1) When you leave PM how long do you need to wait to come back and be considered as a new activation customer?
2) What happens to your reward points? If you join PM back are your public points balance still there or set to zero?

You forfeit all points when you close the account. You can immediately become a new customer again.

if you just suspended your pay (not pay renewal), you have 90 days to come back. if you come back before 90 days by login to My Account and pay to resume service, your points still there. If you missed the 90 days, your account will be closed and points gone
but if you port out your number, then the account will be closed and all rewards point gone. When you come back, you will have to setup new account with new points
