Is there any proof contact a CS Agent will resolve this problem??

With regards to this issue with texting, iMessages and Facetime, see link below....  does sending them to a CS Agent actually resolve anything? Or are we just wasting everyone's time?  Can they actually do anything? And if they can, why hasn't the link been updated with a resolution? Yes, I have my cut and paste statement that I use because I am following Jade's lead with that link, until it's updated, I'm not suggesting customers contact customer service. Should I be suggesting them to go to customer service?

@Chalupa_Batman  Since at least some are reporting getting it fixed individually I am telling people to submit a ticket.  I'm assuming there are others getting the fix from support who aren't coming back to tell us.  I think if the only response I got as a new customer was to sit it out as there may be a general fix coming, I'd be straight off to another provider, people won't want to wait indefinitely for SMS to maybe start working at some unknown time in the future.

@hairbag1 - Maybe J_PM got kicked off the team as PM or TELUS is trying to give their higher ups more $$$.

J_PM is leaving as part of the elimination of PM benefit along with Rewards.  🤣

OK. The question now is, what was the resolution? Furthermore, why isn't the announcement link updated with a solution or resolution?

Hi @Chalupa_Batman 

yes, couple of them came back and confirm support able to resolve the issue, get the text function back and able to get the iMessage registration
