Is HMD Barbie Phone Compatible With PM?

Rathole
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

This might be a silly question, but as a silly guy, I was unable to find the answer. Is the new HMD Barbie flip phone compatible with Public Mobile?

This is what I got off the HMD website:

Max network speed: 4G
Network bands (GSM): Quad band
Network bands (LTE): 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,20,28,38,39,40,41 (120Mhz)
Network bands (WCDMA): B1,2,4,5,8
Networks: GSM/GPRS 900/1800, WCDMA, LTE Cat1
Sim size: Nano

Thank you to anyone who can answer this likely/hopefully simple question.

Yes, the HMD Barbie will work on 850, 1900, 2100 on 3G.

In the context of using this device at Public Mobile, the above information is incorrect.  Public Mobile has never had 2100MHz on 3g.  No carrier in Canada has ever used 2100MHz, most commonly referring to Band 1.  If you're referring to band 4, that's more commonly referred to as just 1700Mhz (or even very confusingly as 1700/2100MHz). Either way, band 4 isn't used for the Public Mobile/Telus 3g/HSPA network either.

B2, B4, B5, B7 on 4G/LTE.

You need at least 2 frequencies to have a stable connection.
