Iphone 13 Pro locks up when connecting to 5G at specific location in Ottawa

Hi there, my 5G works most of the time, when I get to a certain area near my house my phone completely locks up and is unusable for about 10 minutes.   If I keep my phone at LTE it never locks up.  I've switched to esim and same problem.  I've travelled outside of Canada and never have a problem with 5g.  But whenever I'm in a certain area of Ottawa it hangs my phone.   I just keep my phone on LTE because the lockups happens near the gas station I use and Tim Hortons.   It locks up at this area every single time with PM.  Other carriers have been fine.   I posted something about this quite a while ago - it's still a problem.  Updated to lates iOS and problem continues.  Any insight?  How can I contact PM to escalate and see if they are aware of a solution?    Thanks for your insight and help!

hi there hTideGnow - It doesn't matter what app is open - hit a certain location and phone locks up.  Even with no apps open, even with phone locked.  Move zones (drive away) and boom, phone magically starts working.  Go back to exact same area, hangs immediately - every single time.  I've reset network, but not keen on resetting phone.   Other service providers work fine on my home...  Just not PM...

did it happen after you try to launch a particular app?

would you consider wiping your phone once to confirm it is not some funny app on the background causing the issue?

thanks for the info softech - I've tried other sims in my phone and they work (different Vendor).   I've had physical sim and esim from PM for my phone - same problem on my phone.  reset network on my phone, same problem.    It's always at a specific location where it must switch from one cell tower to another.  Unfortunately it's right near my house.  I've tried 5G Auto and 5G on and both cause my phone to lock up.  I switch to LTE and it works fine.   It's never locked up with LTE, but locks up every single time with 5G and phone is unusable.  Go back to range where it kicks into a different cell tower and it works fine again on 5G - very odd...   I'll try opening a ticket with PM...

it could be more a iOS issue that PM

did you use 5G On or 5G Auto? try both

did you try your sim on another phone? If you are using esim, you might want to get a replacement esim for free and test with the new esim

and have you opened a ticket with Apple yet?  I would do so as well

and both Apple and PM likely will ask you to try to Reset your phone and resetup and test

To open ticket with PM:
