Yes, the last digit on the sim card is actually a check digit, that can at least confirm if the sim card number is valid.
But of course @esjliv made a good point that we are not sure if OP tried activated once and encountered problem and re-attempt. If he re-attempted after a successful or stuck activation, the page would show invalid number as well

@softech - I am curious if OP got past this at any point, got to the payment area and crashed or something.
THEN, tried activation again.
This may result in the SIM being activated and an account being generated. So, I was trying to rule out this occurrence with @kellilovelisa01

@esjliv no, it fails right after all numbers entered. The card has correct number, the card likely was used somehow

@kellilovelisa01 - did you get to the payment section, or you could not even get by the point of entering the SIM card number and an error showed?
Very odd if someone sold you an already once activated SIM card?? What location did you buy this at?

@kellilovelisa01 Please REMOVE the number from your post for your own protection. Go back to the post click on the down arrow on the top right and select Edit Message and remove the sim number
I used a SIM number check program and confirmed the number is actually correct.
However, it could also be the card was activated already. Maybe the store gave you an old card? Please take it back to the store (assuming you bought form store) and ask them for an exchange

does your sim card contain 19 digits?
and it is a Public Mobile sim card? is that brand new and NEVER used for activation ?

I want activate my new SIM card then transfer my number from Rogers.
The new SIM saying invalid upon attempted activation.
