International texts and calls

Hello there,

I am leaving Canada to Jordan for a vacation. How can I keep receiving texts or calls while I am outside Canada?

HI @Abusaleh   you cannot

However, you can get local mobile sim card , then use TextNow  , an voip app, to make and receive phone calls and text.   check Textnow before your trip and give your friends the 10 digits number you got form textnow

If conditional forwarding was working then you could forward to a voip app like TextNow. The all forwarding option should work though. Forwarding texts is a lot messier. You would need an app on the phone, the sim left in a phone and on and kept charged in Canada.

You can’t on PM but if you have WhatsApp or TextNow app you can.

On WhatsApp, both parties need the app.

On TextNow, you need to pick a secondary number.

So download load the app to use through wifi.

Sorry,, but there isn't any service option to use your Public Mobile phone in Jordan and won't be able to receive text messages or calls.
