I changed to Public on Monday. I can make phone calls and send and receive texts, but cannot receive incoming calls.
I read that mobile can take up to 5 hours, but it has been 2 days now. I transferred my phone number from my previous company, and replied yes when my previous company sent the text to authorize the changeover. Downloaded an eSIM.
Any ideas? My mom also changed to public same day and isn’t receiving calls either.

It may be the transfer issue, your number didn’t transfer in successful. Before I also have same issue. I recommend you contact the CS_agent, give them you previous carrier information, like company name and account number, let them help you to finish the port in process.

More than likely something went wrong when porting your number over to Public moble, call your former carrier to make sure the number was ported over correctly, to verify you will receive a time sensitive SMS/Text. you must answer yes to it or it will time out and your old carrier will have to port it out again to Public Mobile.
In most cases when this happens that the port out fails to go through, the number will be put into a "number pool" after 3 days and will no longer be able to be ported out.

I got the text from my previous provider and replied yes.
I opened a ticket so hopefully will hear back soon.

The critical part of the porting is to reply to the text from your old carrier with the old SIM in your phone. Did you reply with YES confirming you are porting over to PM? There was a 90 minute window for you to reply.
If you didn’t reply or missed the timeframe. Check your old SIM to see if it still works. If it does then porting was not completed. If it doesn’t work then this could be a provisional issue then you need to contact a CS_Agent for them to help your issue.

I transferred my old number from the old company. I think it might have something to do with the cellular settings choosing primary/secondary with sims etc. I did restart my phone and still can’t receive calls. I followed your link and sent a message to CS agent, thank you for that.

Did you pick a new number or port your old number over to PM?
Try rebooting your phone by powering off then back on.
If that didn’t work, contact a CS_Agent so they can investigate your issue.
