IGNORED by CS for 12+ Days - Please Help

mdefina

I ported my number from chatr last Friday. The port is incomplete. I cannot receive incoming calls. My chatr plan will renew soon , and I do not want to pay for 2 incomplete services.

I sent a PM to @Shazia_K on Friday. It has not been acknowledged. I have posted in the same threads where others have been answered, and I am still ignored. I was ignored on Twitter.

Please help.

Update: November 29, still no response. Smiley Mad

Yes, the delay sucks. They're utterly swamped (which is different than ignoring you...though it feels the same).

re: paying for something you're not getting, a Mod may be able to change your start date. See here.

Did you try the steps that worked for some with an incomplete port? I linked to it already, not to waste your time but because it worked for some that were otherwise waiting for Mods. Might not work, but trying just might avoid waiting longer...

There's one more option I didn't mention before: the "Get Help" - "Contact Us" path (Get Help is at the top and bottom of the page; or if on the mobile version of the forum, on the PM homepage). Mods might be handling that queue too, but othes have reported success that route, and you'll get a ticket number.

I know it's been frustrating waiting. Hang in there!

I appreciate the help above, however I need a mod to fix the problem. I have an incomplete port , no incoming calls/incoming text from other network.

This delay is outrageous. It is almost a week with not even a response. We paid for a service we are not getting.

In case you missed the forum post, perhaps these steps will work in your case. It's worth a shot anyway.

Failing that, with an incomplete port, there's a chance your Chattr SIM still works (incoming and outgoing). Please give that a try.

Mods will be able to see the reason the port didn't complete, and they'll help you resolve it. Unfortunately they are swamped at the moment. Some people have been waiting a week (or more). I certainly hope you don't have to wait that long!

To find your porting issue, the Mods will need a few details.

If you've already included that information in a private message to a Mod, great. No need to private message again (only adds to backlog).

Hopefully PM will be able to adjust your start date to when the port completes successfully (others have mentioned this; I have no idea if they're able to do it though).

Good luck!

Unfortunately, there are only so many mods here and with the current influx of new customers on the deal, I'm guessing it will take a while for them to get back to you. I'm having the same problem with getting a response, but my phone is working fine. I don't know how long it will take PM staff to get around to all the backlog they currently have. But it would help if you could be more specific on your problem. For instance can you send and receive texts from your ported number on your new PM sim card? Is your data working? If you send calls is it from your ported number or the old one?

I'm going to assume you have already tried turning your device off and back on again. Just mentioning it incase you haven't. Might even be a good idea to leave it powered off for a min or two before turning it back on just in case.

Have you properly set up your APN settings?  http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Phones-Hardware/How-do-I-set-up-data-APN-on-my-smartph...
