My i phone 6 will not download the qr code or the public mobile app because it has an IOS of 12.5.7 and need an IOS of 13.0 but that IOS will not download onto my phone. I have a public mobile sim card and have paid for my subscription. My wife has and I phone 10. I was advised to place my sim in her phone and complete the registration. Will her I phone loose any data and will her phone number be affected during this process, and please offer any advice or cautions that you deem necessary as I am a novice at this.

Thanks for letting us know that you can download the app on an iPad to completed the activation. That would be helpful for other customers.

I used my i pad and downloaded as you suggested. Phone works!!! Thank you for your help.

You could put your PM SIM card in your wife's phone. Download the app and finish your registration. Your wife's iPhone will not lose her data or phone number. Once the activation is completed, just put the PM SIM card back to your phone. Logout of the PM app. Put your wife's SIM card back to her phone.
You should then be able to manage your account via the website. (instead of app).
