If you like the option presented by @dust2dust then contact me via private message and I can share the details of a $0 gift credit card to replace your payment card on file.

 

If you have a $$ rewards account and plan on abandoning your pm account I actively seek these accounts to takeover and pass along to members of society on limited or fixed incomes to ensure they can stay connected at minimal cost of at $15 - $7(rewards after 5 yrs)=$8. If you wish to donate a rewards account you no longer need to someone who will really appreciate it please contact me via private message. Thx!

A workaround is to replace the registered card with a zero balance visa gift card.
