@KDaring - your subject of this thread about adding minutes tells me your brother ran out of minutes on his limited calling minutes plan. OR, his account is suspended, or is his account active?
Sure you can add funds to his account by methods provided. But simply adding funds will not give your brother more minutes on a limited plan.
Also, you cannot add the $5 / 500 Canada Wide calling addon by calling 611 or that calling that 1855#.
You will need to log into his My Account/Self Serve account to add this particular addon. Can he provide you information to do this for him, if he is unable to do so?
If you were just trying to add funds, that you should be set, but that "add minutes" part is throwing me here.

Simple. Phone 1 855 4PUBLIC and enter your brothers 10 digit phone number. Then press (1) and (1) again. Enter the 12 digit pin # from the voucher. You will be told if you successfully added a top up payment. Your brother will recieve a text message from 611 confirming it.
Where did you purchase the voucher? Some take up to 24 hours to become valid awhile others are valid right away like 7/11, SDM, Shell stations, TMS, RCSS, Circle K et al......

I will give my brother the PIN number and he can add it using 611. Thank You.

He should call 611 from his phone and apply voucher. Just follow prompts and have voucher number(s) ready to enter.

I am not a public mobile subscriber so 611 will not connect me on my phone. I do not have an account, just trying to get some minutes to my brother, who is a public mobile member and who is in another city. It was purchased at a petro canada outlet.

HI @KDaring The quickest way to load the voucher is via *611
You can also login to My Account, Payment and load your voucher there
Where did you purchase the voucher from? Some places need 24 hours for the voucher to become active. So, if it didn't work, let us know where you got it from and maybe we can confirm if that is a place that needs 24 hours for the voucher to be "loadable"
