How to switch from 36 cad/us plan to 35 cad/us/mex plan

Alright I just did the change now to a 30 plan and change on renewal to the 35 plan in January. Thanks for all the help everyone

yes, use Change on Renewal tomorrow to "switch" on Jan 24th.  Do not use Change now ago, you don't want to have 2 plan charges within days

@Lustypad there won't be an option to pay the difference so your best to change now to the $30 plan, you'll only lose one day or you can try "Change on renewal" which should happen tomorrow, and then you would repeat by selecting the $35 plan with "Change on renewal" since it's only available until the end of the month

@Lustypad  Yes that’s perfect plan and great timing allow the plan change to take place  tomorrow to $30 plan then make plan change tm for the $35 on next renewal . That’s it and you got it 🙂

if you used change now  for $30, the new plan started now

then if you see $35 plan , use change on renewal to schedule the plan change in Jan, this will lock up the $35 to your account 🙂

If you see the plan, you can select it and chose to "change on renewal", this way, you will not be double charged and lose your current 30 day cycle that you already paid for.  If you select to change now, it will start immediately but you will not get credited back the amount you didnt use on your old/current plan.

My plan renewal happens to be tomorrow. Just changed to the 30 dollar plan. I assume I’ll be able to switch to the 35 dollar plan tomorrow and it’ll just “switch” on January 24th type thing?

or do I do the change now option pay the 30 dollars then if I upgrade I pay the difference for the month?

@Lustypad  After you do immediate plan change to the $30 plan then select the $35 plan for next renewal or you will pay twice in a row . Best to do it in 2 step process

you want to get the $35 Canadsa-US-Mex plan?  You don't see it now but there is a workaround to unlock it if you see the $30 plan there on your My Account

You can first pick $30 plan and do a Change Now plan change , which of course you need to pay now and the remaining days on your current cycle will be wasted.    With this, you might be able to unlock the $35 roaming plan, and you can then schedule a plan change on the following renewal day

Yeah there is that. So you can change and then change to the other one instantly without issue?

@Lustypad to add to what slusagm has said, this could work but just be aware that it will involve selecting to "Change now" on the cheaper plan, if available which means you will forfeit any remaining days left on the current month's plan with no refund and you would then hopefully see the $35 Canada-US-Mex plan within 24 hours and then you would select "Change on renewal" so that you don't forfeit more money

@Lustypad  The only work around is to do immediate plan change to the $30 plan then you should see the $35 MEX roaming plan and then make plan change for next renewal . It’s cheaper way then porting out and back in on desired plan and less hassle

it is not showing on your My Acocunt?

do you see a $30 or $29 plan? change to that first, and the $35 roaming plan will show up.
