I want to sign up for the new $34/month 50GB US-Canada plan, but am in the US for a couple of more months? Can I sign-up and order a SIM now, but not activate the plan for 2 months?
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the thoughts. The $34/month 50GB US-Canada plan is advertise as "limited time" and seems a lot better for me than anything with comparable features. It is always tempting to wait for something better but it would be at the risk of this disappearing.

@Jim418 for less chance of failure , you should request a new number upfront instead. and request porting when the line is fully activated. You can request porting at that time on My Account, Profile page.
But you sure you want start the activation now just to take advantage of the current plan?? Please remember PM is prepaid and no refund. If you see. better deals for new activation only later, ou can't change to other new activation only plan as your account is setup already. We saw huge price drop last year and it is possible there will be a better deal that suits your need later

@Jim418 You can do it when you activate the sim . Or you have the choice of choosing new number first to test the service and then port afterwards . But I typically like to port during the activation of the sim myself I trust PM service

I'll be porting my number when I activate in 2 months. Do I request that initially or get a new number and then port in over top of it when I activate the plan?

HI @Jim418
what you can do is to activate and ask for sim card to ship to you. You will be asked to make payment but you won't be activate all the way since you need to wait for the sim card to ship to you. Once you get the sim card, you will need to login the app to finalize the activation process and it is that time the plan actually starts, it can be 2 week or 2 months. So, you can wait till you are back in Canada to complete that. But remember, you have to use a Canadian or US issued credit card for payment

@Jim418 Yes you can absolutely. No worries and thou you will pay upfront the plan won’t start until you get the SIM card and activate it on the app
