Hi,

I'm going to the US soon and I'm thinking of getting Roaming through Public Mobile, but wondering how the service is? Anyone sue it before?

Ty,

Rob

I use it often, and it works great. Just make sure you set your phone to 4G preferred vs 5G though, because AT&T 5G isn't working at the moment. But AT&T 4G as well as T-Mobile 5G and 4G work great.

You need VoLTE in the US because they don't have a 3G network anymore, but your iPhone 14 should, so you're good there.

Also make sure you enable data roaming in your device settings, and ensure network selection is set to automatic.

@RobFranchise   I haven't used it but from reading posts here by people who have, it usually goes seamlessly unless your phone is not VoLTE capable/enabled.   If your phone is on the PM VoLTE whitelist in this link (scroll to the bottom) you should be fine.  If you have problems you can always come back here for help:

The problem with non-VoLTE phones is that the US has done away with the 3G network so in the absence of VoLTE any calls would need to be able to fall back on T-Mobile's 2G network.
