Further to my weird state last night, dialing 611 gave me a pound code #2030. That said I was blocked and offered 1-866-340-4990. I called that and they said they were open some business hours. I looked up the number and seems to get to an outfit called Triton Global Business Services where it seems they provide payment systems to many of the cell providers (amongst everything else they do).
Interesting.

I don't agree with disabling your data limiter especially when it comes to data add ons. Public mobile sends out data usage texts at 75% and 95% of usage of all of the data on your account. (These texts also occasionally get sent out in error so check your self serve account and use the little refresher arrows for up to date usage.) Depending on the amount of plan data on your account relying on these texts to monitor your data usage can be costly.....if you have a larger portion of add on data vs plan data since generally add on data is more expensive and also rolls over every 30 days.
Your add on data may have come from several possible sources. You may have purchased it ($15/1gb). Redeemed points for it (10pts/1gb). It could have been a promotion from activation or a holiday gift from the "more is merrier" campaign or even showed up on your account as a surprise "mystery" gift after having your account suspended for up to 89/90 days.
How you choose to use it is up to you but if you are a low data user with the $15 plan for example and intend to supplement your plan data (250mb) then making use of your data warning and data limiter to manage your usage and only use the add on data when you really need it then ensuring that you get a data usage warning and/or the data limiter kicks in to stop your mobile data from being used when you don't realize it is very important.
Disconnecting from WiFi accidentally or app with video content like tiktok or Instagram running in the background or a software update can quickly consume all of your available mobile data before you ever know it or before you hit 75% when pm sends a usage text that can quickly be followed by the 95% usage texts.
I have the $15 plan with 250mb of data. I also have 20+gb of add on data on the account. I cannot rely on pm's data usage texts and have thankfully never recieved one. I usually set my data warning at 125mb and my data limiter at 200mb. That leaves with another 50mb of plan data to use if my data limiter stops my data. When I hit 250mb I can make the decision of how much add on data I want to possibly use until renewal.
Normally I increase my data limiter usage by 100mb segments resetting it to 350mb and so on....this allows me to be conservative with my data usage and avoid a costly mistake. A 75% data usage warning would mean I have used more than 15gb of data. At $15/1gb that would be over $225 of data add ons used...a very pricey lesson to be learned indeed.
Make sure you 30 day cycle matches the calendar dates for your usage cycle in your phone's data tracker. Depending on where you live in Canada it can be off by a few hours......in bc our 30 day cycle renews at 9pm pacific but our phones data tracker will reset 3 hours later at midnight. Avoiding mobile data usage during those 3 hours keeps my phone's data tracker much more accurate.

611 is also in a weird state.
You can check your usage logging in to the chatbot. That will tell you how much plan data you've used and what data add-ons you have and how much you've used of them. (and limited minutes and other minutes)
Seems the chatbot log in lets us view things. But they removed the ability to do anything other than look.

@Jayeshtoscano Also site is down for maintenance at the moment so you will have to wait for it to be finished before signing into self serve again

after your data will be used all and the Add-ons will be automatically get use, until your Add-ons will end, then you won't see them in your account but if you have new renewal cycle is coming
the add-ons data will be stay until your data cycle end will be again automatically connacting.

@Jayeshtoscano there is not special way to use thr addon Data, it should kick in automatically
Login to My Account using Incognito mode and confirm the addon is still there
You might want to reboot your phone once
And make sure your phone does not have any data limit set, if it has disable it

@Jayeshtoscano It will automatically get used once you use up your monthly plan data bucket allowance … check here to keep track of your add on
Check add-ons /mins /Data
For most up to date account info
and note the data add on will roll over each month every 30 days until it’s used
