Hi @Handy1 "points forever" is still wrong

Customers can choose not to collect points and not to collect any rewards.   So, they can choose "no points forever" instead.  It is a customers rights to choose to opt out any rewards program offered by any business

This is NOT correct. You can opt out of Points but then you have Nothing and cannot get back to Points so you have NO rewards at all.

That much is true, @Handy1 

PM is trying (really hard) to cut costs so they've given the 'opt out' option for the lesser reward plan.

I'm sure the suits in the upper offices really like that idea - what's good for them ain't for us customers.

@HALIMACS @hTideGnow  Never considered not wanting the reward of any sort , however that said I just simply meant that the consensus is that rewards vrs points rewards are preferred and once points there no going back it’s just points forever

@dean3  YES,  opt-out is definitely POSSIBLE.  BUT you will not collect any rewards at all , you won't be joining back the old rewards

Sorry but you can't opt out of the points rewards system and go back to the $$ rewards system. If that is what your asking.

You can opt out of public points. 

Your just can't get into Public rewards. 

So best to stay in public points if you're already there.

hi @Handy1 not true, by law, people all have right to opt out rewards system.  And you can message PM support to opt out Public points and not collect any rewards.

  This is consumers rights.  Some people opt out rewards for various reasons like religious

To opt out of Public Points do the following:

Log into the Rewards portal

Choose About Public Points in the tab

Scroll to the bottom and there is the Opt out tab

Hi @dean3 opt out from Public Points will not bring you back to old rewards system.   Opt out just mean you are not getting any rewards at all.  

if you really want, open ticket with Pm

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

First type Contact,
then select the only choice there: "Contact..",
from the list of , choose "Other"
finally click link the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can open ticket by private message (but this can take longer):

If you opt out of Points you will have Nothing as you cannot get back to $ rewards (if you were there).
