I'm trying to access historical phone and text records for an account that was deleted last month. The PM Chat says I should "submit a ticket" to the Community. Is that what I'm doing now? How do I find out how to access historical info?

Payment history is 12 months and Usage history is 90 days. They are both available on My Account for access yourself.
PM support will not help outside of the above timeline

Hello.
Since you cancelled the plan a month ago, from what I've read on other posts here in the forum, public mobile has the ability to go back 12 months. However, since a month has passed since you cancelled, they may only be able to go back 11 months for you. Just know, you can only get logs, not the actual text messages.

if you meant the text record as to actual text contents, don't waste time, no carrier save that for privacy reason
if you meant just need to know when a text was sent and the phone number, PM has that in the Usage history page on My Account, for 90 days and they don't keep longer than 90 days
