Bought a SIM from Walmart
paid for a plan there so I assume it's activated.
Triple checked with bell that my phone is unlocked.
have reset my phone four times.
i have a iPhone SE
just get no service
is there something I need to do?
or is this SIM just bad?

With the sim inserted in the phone, were you able to get through the activation screens? If yes, are you able to see your phone number under settings, phone?

@Abbysemojis Try the sim in any other phone and see if it works. You are not alone. I have seen a few more reports regarding exact same thing. Not sure the issue is on Walmart's end or public mobiles end.
Anyways, most likely you will need to reach out to the mod team via private message and they will look into your account.

I should mention that I factory reset my phone two times.
i removed the SIM so many times and I followed all of apples protocol....

i would recommand you to factory reset the iphone.
i am not sure why, but most of the iphone has problems with reading simcard.

Have you tried removing the SIM and re-inserting or checking for a carrier update?
