Hi, I am trying to set up my new Sim with Public and I am assuming I missed a step when trying to activate it because I mistakenly put in the new sim when I wasn't prompted to. When I put in the new sim and when I tried to activate my account, it's saying to link my sim card. When I do that, it says sim is in use. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @will13am, its been over 30 minutes since I responded to the port request. Also, the payment went through for subscribing to the new plan went through. I can't move on in the activation process and it gave me a message saying to not insert sim card during this process which I accidentally did. At the step, I'm stuck at it's asking me to link my sim and when I do that, it says the sim is in use.

@Shaevitha , how long has it been since you responded yes to the port request? It usually take about 30 minutes or so for the port to complete.

Note this is for my sister's sim not mine.

I cancelled my old sim(I sent YES to my old service provider) but when I put in my old sim to make sure it was cancelled, I found out that I can still make calls and send texts. I don't know if that's causing issues related to my matter.
