Hi, I just transferred my cell number from Bell to Public on Oct 1, I responded Yes when bell asked to be verified.
It was working fine since then but today it now says the number is not in service. How do I get my number back? What happened?

Ok I think I found a major security hole in public mobile.
When I tried to port my number, it technically did not go through as the original provider denied the request. However, after using the public mobile sim, the number was indeed working on that sim.
Basically this means with a public mobile sim and anyone's phone number (and maybe original provider) I can take over their number.

hi @IceLoki just to confirm? you didn't call Bell to cancel, right?? You shouldn't
I think you need to have PM CS agent to confirm what happened, please submit ticket

This was done Oct 1, the PM sim card was working fine, bell is canceled and bell sim is dead. Of course I tested all phone features such as texting in/out, phone in/out, mobile data. Like I said, everything was working fine.

hi @IceLoki is it exactly one month after you join PM? it could be the porting was never completed and you were never able to get inbound calls and you were not aware.
Put your Bell sim card in the phond and see if it still works. And try login Bell and it could still be active. If they are all true, Bell never released the line to PM

Now my # has been lost again and I have been assigned some random #. I am really regretting getting public mobile at this point, kind of a joke they would do this.

I found the ticket submission section and did that as well. But I can't find anywhere if it actually went through, there appears to be no "Tickets" section that I can find other than submitting a new one. I also can't find a spot to view my posts? Is there a spot to view your posting history?

HI @IceLoki
if you just submitted my private message, you don't have a ticket number. You will have to check the Community inbox and wait for agent replies. Check the envelope icon on the top right, beside the avatar

Where do I view my submitted tickets?

I should clarify, it was not the phone saying out of service, it was anyone who tried calling my number would get the 'that number is not in service' message. Is there anyway to get a message to public mobile to see what is going on?

Not an esim, just a regular one. Yes, the phone number is correct, as I mentioned it was working fine for the last few days. I just re-did the transfer # again, and it is working, but since that # was 'out of service' and cancelled with bell, is it going to stick? Are they going to wait for an authorization from bell that will never come?

did you use eSIM with Bell? if you did, you disabled your Bell eSIM on your phone yet?
Also, login My Account, go to Profile page, check the phone number there, does it show the correct phone number?
And if you are using physical sim card. Try to reseat the sim card. Power down the phone first, take sim out and wipe it clean, put it back and power up. Try again. Try both incoming calls and outgoing calls, tell us if both work
if voice calls do not work, try data
Let us know
