Hi all,
After observing what seemed to be someone remotely controlling my browser, I have decided to upgrade from an old Android to a Galaxy A15. Although I assume my current Public SIM card wouldn't be affected, I want to get a new SIM Card at the Telus store today, and start fresh with the new device, but keep my current number. Is that possible? What should be my steps?
Thanks!

@Mark2024 yes this should be possible. You'll need to install the PM app on your new device and from within the app you can choose to update the SIM card information which will not impact/change your cell number

@Mark2024 You don’t need a new SIM card just take the SIM card out of old phone and put it in the new one . Even if the SIM card appears bigger and you need nano sim for new one you can just pop outer edge off
3 hole punch /desired size
Note flat edge corner / fit flush in tray
No lifting or rising /push in all the way
BUT if you wanna go thru the trouble and expense of a new SIM card . Once you have it in your hand @Mark2024 just log into your account profile page and sim swap the number
