Give me a reason to stay with public mobile

I have the $25/30 plan and have followed public mobile for many years, so I pay not so much every time. but since Public Mobile changes their policy, I have to pay $25 for 30 days for only 1GB(b?) data. I am wondering to seek a better plan from other carriers, like $29 20G data per  month. do I have any reason to stay with public mobile? do you have?

I'm going to put a twist on this. Give yourself a reason to stay with Public Mobile.

What would you do if you were in the market for a new provider?

It really depends on how much data you normally use in a month. You can pay more for data you don’t use. If you are a light data user just switch to the $19 plan. It is the same as the $25 plan.

Depending on your Loyalty date with PM. You will get 10 points plus the 5 points for the mandatory switch to the Points Rewards. You can redeem the 15 points for a $15 credit off your monthly bill.

@LuckyTonySun   In your account under change subscription there should also be a $29 for 10GB plan offered.  If you change plan make sure to select "change on renewal" and not "change now" or you will lose what's left of your current plan with no pro-rated refund.

While we can argue that the $19/1GB is ok and should be switched to by $25/1GB users, the $29/10GB is another slap in the face to existing customers when new activations get 4x the data for the same price.

My time machine is broken, so can't get the $75/60GB/90days anymore, but if you are offering $29/40GB, $25/10GB would be more in line, and would certainly be more realistic usage wise for the average person.

Now that everybody is on points there is really no reason anymore to exclude existing customers from any plan. Unless, of course the strategy is to lose even more loyal customers who essentially did the heavy lifting in marketing for years. If I have to port out / port back in to get a decent deal, I have no interest in the port back in part if I find a comparable or better deal  that fits my needs somewhere else.

@LuckyTonySun

Suggest change at next payment date (instead of immediately).  PM does not pro-rate plans if you change earlier.

Maybe some good news.

There is an unadvertised plan for existing customers.  $19 for 1GB of LTE data.  Existing customers can see this plan in your self service account.  All grandfather $25 plan 1GB users should switch to this plan.  Similar savings to before the mandatory switch to reward points.
