Forwarding answered calls?

Mleevega

Has anyone had any luck with forwarding a call to another number AFTER you have picked up? I am hoping to use my Public Mobile phone for my small business so that when my office person answers calls, they can forward to me or another person?  Please help!

@Mleevega if this Call Transfer feature is important to you, check with Rogers and Telus Home Phone ..

As Nezgar mentioned, no mobile phone provider offers that feature, nor do I see it becoming a thing anytime soon.

It's not just a feature lacking at Public Mobile, but "call transfer" I don't think is a feature you will find with any mobile carrier? It's just not a function that's part of the mobile network technology. Unless some carriers support starting a 3-way call, and allow you to end the call without disconnecting the other two parties.

The best way to achieve this is a VoIP/PBX based system to take the initial calls, and use a softphone app on the PC or mobile device to perform the call transfer function.

Sadly this provider is not geared towards business operations, and call forwarding has been hit or miss since the volte rollout began, just judging from other posts on the forums here from others wanting to do similar call forwarding for other situations.

@Mleevega sorry there is no such feature as to redirect the call to another number after pickup.

But of course, the work around is to use 3-ways calling , which is part of of plans.  However, drawback is that your staff has to be on the call during the 3-ways conference call as he is the one making the conference call

And to be honest, I don't recall any consumer plan from any provider has the feature you looking for
