Forwarding Canadian mobile number

Hi, I am wondering if I can call forward my Canadian number to a US mobile phone number temporarily for 3 months.

Would it be too expensive to get the 90 day Canada/US plan?

In addition to TextNow, I have the TextNow SIM while in the USA and I also use WhatsApp using my the PM number.

but considering using a VoIP app like TextNow. Forward the call to TextNow with a Canadian number, the use TextNow the app to receive the call anywhere in the world's. The app works as long as you have wifi or local  mobile data
