Extra credit for Interacting

Hi, how does the community interacting discount for a bill's total cost work exactly? Curious to know if anyone has been eligible for that discount and what did you do to become eligible?

Thank you!

Top 1% is not easy @raymond3000

Expect to spend a dedicated minimum 2 hours each day responding to questions.

Aim for at least the following every day:

  • 25 posts,
  • 25 bravos,
  • 3 solutions

Even with the above stats you have a chance at making top 1%, but there's still no guarantee if a few of the other regulars do better.

I don't agree that 2 hours per day is anywhere close to being enough to get top 1%.  From personal experience,  I can easily say that it usually takes far more than that.  Also, I advise against trying to get 25 posts, 25 bravos, and 3 solutions per day.  I know of ways to achieve that, but it it doesn't necesarily mean that the most customers were helped, nor should anyone's goals be to try to achieve specific numbers.

Addressing to all replies: Thank you all for the replies, i can see how this is a nice community of people helping others and it's nice to be a part of it:)

Obviously my goal isn't to reach the maximum amount for the biggest possible discount. But im trying to save on my bills as much as i can.

My apologies, I meant the 1% award. So you're only competing against 300 ppl to get into 150 spots. And given most people here aren't active, there's a good chance you'll get the award.

@raymond3000- not true.  There might only be 2 -3 people who get the top level awards, but many, many people get the lesser amounts.

The exact formula for community rewards is unknown to us.  Likely a combination of number of posts, bravoes receive and solutions received.

If you are interested in helping other PM customers, you are welcome to spend some time gaining knowledge and then answering posts.  However, if you want to do this to make money, it is not worth your time.  To get $10-15 per month credit, you will need to spend at least several hours per day helping others.  Less than minimal wage.

Simply put it is a labor of love by being on these forums and answering questions precisely and succinctly.

We don't do it for the money - you make more collecting refundable from the roadside than you would for the time spent here.

@Scrim14  It’s a secret formula that only public mobile knows , however I can share that it’s paid out monthly and that

By participating , reading and helping others with questions . And learning and sharing and good things will happen
