When transferring to a newer iPhone do I need to delete the existing eSIM?

I don't think the others understood your question. NO you don't need to delete existing e-sims from your phone. iPhones for sure can support more than one e-sim. After you activate/transfer  the new e-sim to your new phone then if you choose you can delete any other inactive e-sims from your phone.

@Mobojoe

Looks like you need to purchase a SIM then.

hi @Mobojoe

did you use the app?

if you did, check if the eSIM was installed.  Check Settings -> Cellular.  Make sure Turn on this line is enabled and set as Primary

if same, message support and ask.  You can  submit by direct message:

hi @Mobojoe

esim cannot be transferred but you can get a replacement for free. Download PM app on the new phone, buy from Account page , choose Purchase sim card as follow

Hello @Mobojoe

You have to download the Public Mobile app on the new iPhone and then log in, go purchase a new eSIM and it will cost $5. Then when you go to the check out, it will drop down to free. $0.00

@Mobojoe  No you need to log into the app with new phone and rebuy eSIM , the system should credit you back the money at check out and if not just message support and then will give you credit for the cost
