where can I find a phone that uses esims instead of sim cards? I would prefer a pre-owned phone as I am on a very low pension. I am desperate as my phone is haveing a problem with reading my sim card

do you see SOS showing the phone not able to connect or some error saying invalid sim?
or the sim connects just you have voice calls trouble? If voice issue only, it could be because PM is realigning some 3G network bands
for a new phone, $150 might be hard to get a brand new one that has esim. But check Motorola G Stylus 2023 used, it might be around $200 or $250. (brand new Motorola G Stylus 5G 2024 was $339 at Costco earlier)

I have heard good things about MOTO. I can only look at a phone around 150 or less.
Thanks for responding

sim card usually last and don't have much trouble. Instead of jumping to buy a new phone, test your sim card on a friend's friend and confirm. You can also test your friend's sim on your phone so you know if it is your phone's problem

I may do so but want to see if others have the same issue, I have heard that some have had the same issue.

I would assume you have an Android (as most iPhone already has esim)
for Android, unless you get those non-Canada phone, which I don't suggest you to go with them due to compatibility, most Andoid phone with esim are mid-end phones. You can get a Samsung A36 or Moto if you like. What is your budget?

if your phone has problem with the sim, why not get a new sim card? only $5 if you buy from Amazon
