I recently got a new pixel 3 straight from Google. I switched from an iPhone 6s. Both use nano sim cards so I was able to pop the sim out of the iphone and into the pixel 3.
The pixel 3 seems to drop alot of calls and have poor connection. Like if I call my mom I can hear her fine but she hears me as static and cant understand what I am saying. This also seems to be happening with other land lines aswell. Cell calls dont seem to be effected. I always check that I have good signal before making calls but it still happens.
Could it be I need to get a new sim card?

@Emilyrichter That is a known issue with the Pixel 3. You might want to call Google and ask for a replacement if it's still under warranty.

Getting a new SIM card unlikely will help.
If you put the SIM card back to iphone, still same issues? If not, then it is likely hardware issue.
I did a quick google search and other customers like yourself also have issues with the pixel call quality. You might want to do more research.

You could try resetting your network settings.
There were recent service issues.
Try contacting a moderator if you still have problems.
