Does the first billing cycle begin on subscription purchase or SIM activation?

Reason I am asking is that I've purchased two new accounts for each of my parents and one of them needs a physical SIM, which will take a while to arrive, and I'd like them to both have their pay cycle on the same day.

• Does the pay cycle begin on the day I purchased the plans, or the day I activate the SIMs?

Starts on Sim activation.  

But PM sim card delivery time could vary from couple days to 3 weeks.  If you waited 5 days and still not receive the sim card, open ticket with support and ask them to allow you to re-buy from local Telus/Koodo stores and ask them to reimburse you
