What’s my recourse for disappearing data? I live in an area with no cell coverage for 30 miles. When I go online to check account I see 1/4 of my data used up.

@Two Yes i do turn off cell and data when home. I’ve been home since last reset
But you keep data on when you're away from home? That could be when it is being used, but at least you could test it by keeping data turned off all the time unless you specifically need to use it for something. If you use the quick controls pull down from the top of the screen it's an easy toggle to on or off.

What is your plan i.e. how much data do you have for each month?
You should try to figure out where all that data is being used by going into your phone settings: Network, Internet, Public Mobile, App Data Usage, Mobile Data Usage. Make sure that the start date for the usage is the same as your renewal date for public mobile.
You may find that some of your apps are using mobile data in the background without your knowledge. This happens whenever you are out and about, away from Wi-Fi with your mobile data turned on. Many apps, especially ones by Google, are always checking your location, listening to you in the background or downloading and updating your information with their servers.
This is always going on to some degree, let's say 200 MB per month. This takes me back to my first question to you. If you only have 1 GB plan, this background usage would impact you greatly. On the other hand, if you have a 100 GB plan, you would not even notice it.

hi @Two
are you concern with some data usage showing up around midnight? if that is what you concern, no worries. That is just a total usage for the day, it does not mean you were using the data at that moment.

Yes i do turn off cell and data when home. I’ve been home since last reset. This happens often and there’s no way to have it returned

@Two Presumably you spend some time away from home otherwise there'd be no need for a cell phone if there is no coverage? Easiest thing is to just turn off cellular data except when you need to use it. You don't usually need to go right into settings for that. That's what I always did before I got a bigger data bucket.

hi @Two
PM data tracking is usually very reliable. How much data you have monthly and how much it shows used? Try comparing with the phone's own data tracker
