Depletion of SMSs while roaming

I use a Google Pixel 5A 5G, but I could not stop the phone to send notifications to 7723 while roaming in US. Any idea how to?

HI@Facebookphobic   It is Google trying to enable visual voicemail  It sometimes happen when you are connected to PM as well.  I think because T-Mobile has VVM and hence the phone will try to enable it

Try this:

At Phone app, click Settings, 

Click, Voicemail.
then disable  Visual Voicemail

@Facebookphobic - try disabling Visual Voicemail from the dialer setting, send an SMS to 7723 and it should stop.
